Born in Los Angeles, California, and raised in Gardena, VIX grew up surrounded by an environment rich with culture and music. His DJ journey started as a fun hobby, simply mixing for friends hanging out, posting mashups and mixes online as a creative outlet. What began as a fun hobby quickly gained momentum, allowing him to deeply express his love for music.

Blending nostalgic sounds from his childhood with a modern twist, VIX developed a sound signature rooted in R&B and hip-hop culture. Since then, he has taken his sound from the internet to performing at vibrant third spaces and events across Southern California, including Soul Real Market as a resident DJ, creative thirdspace barbershops like Rume Botega & Braveheart, and festival stages like the Sun God Festival at University of California, San Diego.
